Details: Peat pellets are plant starter pellets made of compressed peat. When exposed to water they expand to create a self-contained growing pot. Roots emerge easily through the porous walls of the pellet because of the enhanced air circulation created by the pellet’s unique design. As a result, the pellet eliminates root disturbance and allows plants to be transferred without transplant shock.

In comparison with coco or coconut pellets, these seed starter pellets are sourced organically from within Canada and are processed without the use of harsh chemicals. The netting used to contain each pellet is also made of a fully biodegradable material derived entirely from corn starch.
